I am a car collector in Florida and one of my wagons is the 1973 Pontiac Grand Safari of Frank Sinatra it has been in my warehouse since the passing of Mr. Sinatra May14 1998 it has been restored as it was delivered to Mr. Sinatra on May 14 1973 it is desert sand in color with bone interior and fully optioned with the 455 ci. motor. this is the only photo released since restoration.
Cool, what an historic car; I'd love to see more pics of it. Does the radio only play Ol' Blue Eyes songs?
Is there some reason other photos can't be taken and posted? What are your plans for the car now that the restoration is complete? Sell it? Keep it? Show it? Loan to a museum? Is it actually your car, or are you storing it for the owner? Sinatra, as you say, died in 1998, which was 12 years ago. Did it take all 12 years to restore the car? What was the condition when he died? Had Sinatra owned the car right up to his death?
Yes, for what we can see of it in that single, not-terribly-good photo. Based on the phrasing in the first post ("one of my wagons is the 1973..."), it apparently belongs to the OP. If that's the case, why can't he just snap a few photos and post them? Why the drama? Does someone else have to give approval before more photos can be "released."
