Hope you all had a great 4th! We sure did! Amazingly it was in the low 90's during the day and low 80's in the evening, with no humidity! In Austin! Wow! Felt great! First lets start with a Big 4th of July Parade and car show. My friend Rich driving his Can Am in the July 4th parade. Getting Ready to Go! God Bless America! Parade..Float...literal translation....hilarious! As the parade loops back on itself, participants get to enjoy and appreciate one another's entries!...
Now for the evening. Kids sat on the roof the the Denali and watched two shows, and then we drove out to the country and shot off our own fireworks at a low water crossing on the San Gabriel river. Did not get home until 2am! Great night! Here's some pics from around town last night. Enjoy! Lil and Eddie on the Denali watching the show View from the 360 Bridge over Lake Austin Boats waiting for the show to start, and then fireworks from the a dock Fireworks in downtown Austin. My brother went to these...over 100,000 people in Zilker Park! Happy 4th all!! -Texas Mike
Sounds like you enjoyed the holiday. Parade, cars, family and fireworks what a day...wait...was there food?
Looks like a great day. I really like the can-am but have always thought the hood scoop should be scaled up from the T/A size as the hood is bigger.
