Save the ferris wagon! I saw this movie again and noticed Moms Chrysler station wagon w/ fuax woody styling!
Here's an odd tie in. The license plates in the movie (Ferris Bueller) are all abbreviations for titles of films by John Hughes. Katie's = VCTN (National Lampoon's Vacation ; Jeannie's = TBC (The Breakfast Club ; Tom's = MMOM (Mr. Mom ; Rooney's = 4FBDO (Ferris Bueller's Day Off . except for the Ferrari = NRVOUS
those woodies If you worked hard enough, you could collect the full Le Baron woodie series. The wagon, the four door sedan, the two door coupe and the two door convertible.(yeah, you could get them all with woodie)If you got industrious, you could get one of those K-car pick-up trucks and put a Le Baron woodie package on it.You can do this with Falcons,Torinos and Chevelles too,if you're of a mind to.
sedan woodie? I didn't know you could get a 4-door sedan K-Car in woodie treatment. I had always planed to turn my '93 Acclaim into a woodie, Calling it a VIP. You'll have to find me some pics.
I like these T&C's. There's one, a little newer (with the more rounded front end) that's 3 blocks from my office. It's identical to the picture above, as far as color, wheel covers, etc. are concerned...and it's in real good shape. It's at a Goodyear tire center and it's always there...guessing it belongs to an employee. But lately, they have been parking it where they usually park a couple of cars they are selling. They have not yet put up their "for sale" sign in it, though...but I'm waiting. I've seen the T&C, the 2-dr and the convertible in woody attire...but I haven't seen the 4-dr...I'd love to see it. Somewhere, I saw a picture of the convertible woody that had a matching wood "inlay" in the center cap of the wire wheel covers, but with the Chrysler pentastar cut out. I got to find that picture.
