Stopped at a green light and suffered disapproving looks to get this. Sweeeeeeet. Put yer dam phone down!!!!ive actually seen this dude before. He’s always headed the opposite direction but this time I got him!

The photo almost looks re-touched--like you added color only to the vintage Ford. That yellow (any color, really) truly pops in a sea of grays and silvers...

That is a very keen observation.

 

Yeah, no kidding. My sister, to be different, got a new Tiguan in "Habanero Orange." Man, does that color pop and catch your eye!

 

Saw this one coming out of —guess where?! It was clean as in not dirty. That’s it. I call it well loved. Let’s just say I did you all a favor by not taking any close ups. Nice wagon

 

Nathaniel spotted this one going through an intersection yesterday when we were coming home from Church.
We went to see if we could find it, and discovered it was at our local ACE store. We were heading there ourselves, but did't get there in time. He was already leaving as we arrived, so I didn't get to talk to him.
It's a Ford/Mercury wagon, that's all I could tell.

That old yellow Ford wagon appears to be a 1949. That's the last year the woody Ford wagon was just called a 'station wagon'. In 1950, they stuck the 'Country Squire' name on it for the first time.

 

It was also the first Ford designed by committee--the Whiz Kids.
