Okay, I'm the new guy here, and I see this as a very different forum than others I belong to. My non-wagon "toys" are 60's vintage Mopars, so I am on the Dodge Coronet Registry and the Barracuda Owners Group. These other sites are specific to a particualr model and a specific vintage of car. But the Station Wagon Forum embraces all wagons of all makes, all countries of orgin and all eras. Thats a huge amount of territory to cover. So, as a new arrival I'm curious about the specific wagon interests of everyone here. I would like to see everyone list their favorite wagon or two or three from the manufacturers or makes you like. No need to try to make a choice for makes you don't like. For example, the wagon I own is a 2002 VW Passatt that I've had for several years. But, I don't personally like VWs, so there won't be any VWs on my list of favorites.
I apologize if this is a repeat of any recent previous thread.
Heres my list of favorites (and "no", I don't own and never have owned any of these, though I did once own a 64 Country Sedan and a 67 Belvedere II convertible, so I've been close):
    Dodge- 60 Polara, 64 (Polara) 440, 66 Monaco
Plymouth-67 Belvedere II, 70 Satellite or Sport Satellite, 46-48 Plymouth Woody, 58 Belvedere
    Chrysler-57 New Yorker, 68 Town & Country
    Chrysler Australia-68 Valiant VE
    Ford-63 & 64 Galaxie Country Squire, 64 Fairlane 500 Ranch Wagon, 63 Falcon Squire
    Mercury-63 Colony Park, 63 Meteor
    AMC-67-68 Rebel
    Chevy-62 & 63 Impala
    Pontiac-62 & 66 Bonneville Custom Safari
    Olds-65 & 70 Vista Cruiser
    Buick-66 Skylark Sport Wagon,67 Special
    Studebaker-64 Wagonaire

To be perfectly honest I couldn't possibly name them all so, I'll name a few.

1967 Ford I like the stacked headlights
1968 Ford I like the hidden headlights
    Buick Sport Wagon all years
    Olds Vista Cruiser all years
    Datsun 510
    Toyota Corona
    1982 Cougar for obvious reasons:dancing:
    All Fairmonts
    Studebaker Lark Wagonaire
    67 Ford Fairlane
    57 Ford Ranchwagon

That's enough. There's about 1,000 more. If you own a wagon I like it.

1967 Ford Country Sedan (Just purchased)
    1957 Mercury
    1957 - 59 Plymouth.

These are my favorites based on aesthetics.

I love my Fairmont Squire, now a FairStang Squire.:D

My big old 1975 T&C gets my (y)

And one other Mopar wagon that my dad owned - a 1956 Chrysler wagon

My 1958 Hillman Wagon was cute, but useless.

My mom's 1964 Studebaker wagon was a fine car, but not a favourite.

My dad's big 1958 Ford Ranchwagon with the factory-errored 390 CID was fun, but rattled too much.

I'd have to say the 1957-63 Mopar wagons for Styling and my Fairmont. But most North American wagons all had class. None of the European wagons, except the P1800 volvo hatchback.

    Hey guys,

I have quite a few favorites...

Of course, I am obsessed with GM clamshells, very partial to 1971-72.

I love the 1963 Studebaker Lark Daytona Wagonare...so wonderful!

1955-78 Ford Country Squires...that a lot of years, but almost every one is a winner, with some real show-stoppers...57, 61-63 IMO!

    1959 GM wagons...Chevrolet, fantastic!...Oldsmobile, outrageous!...Buick, gorgeous!

Love all of the hardtop wagons from every maker...1957 Mercury CP, all of the fabulous Mopar hardtop wagons, with a special shout-out to the Dodges of that era!

    1955 Nomad...perfection!

1966 Pontiac Bonneville...when this wagon is loaded, as many were, this is one amazing luxo-cruiser!

I absolutely love all Nash/Rambler wagons from 1955 to 1963. I could really go nuts for some of those!

I love all wagons, and I am leaving so many off my list...1965-68 Mopar fullsize everything...T&C all years...CP all years...:whew:whew! must stop...

    Thanks,
    David

I knew I would forget some of my faves!

    1962 Pontiac Tempest, 1962 Oldsmobile F-85, 1962 Buick Special...love them! Sweetest wagons!

1960-65 Falcon wagons, especially the Squires.

1964-67 Buick Sport Wagon and Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser...GM creativity at it's best! Really beautifully done wagons.

    My favorites........
(I'm gonna stick here to the classic American wagons. There are some Asian and European wagons I'd love to have as well, like the Subaru Legacy GT, or the Audi S6)

    1967 Pontiac Bonneville
    1964 Chrysler Town & Country
    1957 Buick Caballero
    1995-6 Buick Roadmaster Estate
1969 Chevrolet Malibu (like the front end of this year better than the others, '68 - '72)
1973 Chevrolet Malibu SS wagon (Yes, you could get one from the factory - this year only)
    1981 Pontiac Bonneville

As to what I'd do with them, I'm more inclined to resto-mod them - leave the bodies mostly stock, but upgrade the mechanicals to modern specs. Also upgrade the interior as well, but trying to keep it looking like the factory did it.

Any full-size seventies wagon from GM, Ford or Chrysler, I think. Must have the biggest engine available, so 455, 460 or 440.

Let's see. That's a hard question to come up with my absolute all time favorite, but if I had to, I'd guess it'd be the 1968 Ford Country Squire, preferably in dark green! Here's some more in descending order.

1987 Colony Park (I currently own one.)
    1972 Cutlass Wagon
    1964 Colony Park
    1972 Country Squire
1963 Country Sedan (My family had one way back then)
