OK I give up.... what's up with this crazy gas tank. The one I ordered was for the Falcon, but had to be installed upside down so the input for the gas was on the right side. Made a new drain hole and had to rig up my own filling tubes. I used the old drain hole, which was now on the top, to use as a vent. After I put in a few gallons of gas , it started to flow back out the filler hole.... the filler hole is higher than the top of the tank... gas was also coming out the vent tube. How can this be? Am I trying to put too much in the tank... although it's only shows 3/4 full on the gauge? Has anyone solved this problem before, so that the gas is not spilling out the filler hole?
