    In my humble opinion the Eagle wagon is super cool. Weren't they 4 wheel drive in the 80's ? Now you probably have to buy a Subaru for something comparable. Wish I could say the same something nice about the Pacer (?) wagon but they are just a little too far out there for me.

    There you go. As the Eagle became the Forester the Pacer custom pickup became the Subaru Brat. Or maybe the reverse. Whatever happened it looks like one coincidence too many. Question: does anybody know if AMC refugees wound up at Subaru US ?
