I have had many friends throughout my life, but there are three individuals who I have know since childhood that I consider my closest and dearest friends. On Saturday one of them got married. He found love later in life then the rest of us, but it was certainly worth the wait. He asked the other three of us to be his groomsmen.

One of the things we all have in common is our love for cars. My buddy decided to drive away from the church in his Mustang and invited the rest of us to bring our cars and park them out in front of the church as well. Unfortunately one of our buddies was without a running "cool" car so, he declined the invitation citing his DD Explorer Sport-trac's lack of cool factor.

It turned out to be a neat little aspect of the day.

So, we have my car, 1964 Plymouth Fury. The Groom's car, 06 Mustang GT with a Roush stage 3 package. And Tim's car, 1965 Chevrolet Impala.

How can a Sport-Trac not have any cool to it? It's a 4X4, shortbed, crew cab pickup. Hell, if I'd been one of your group, I would've been driving my 5.0 Explorer AWD, simply because my Ranchero looks like @$$.

I don't know man. We tried to convince him but he didn't want to. We did momentarily consider hog tying him and stealing his keys, but decided against it.
