    ...and here's what I found:

-- Scroll about 1/3 the way down the page to the 1969 Ford Aurora II Concept Car. Basically a '69 Country Squire with suicide-style hardtop doors, and wrap-around rear seating. Never saw this one before.

-- 1975 Imperial Station Wagon - made from a Chrysler T&C with an Imperial front clip. I think it looks pretty sharp.

    What the......????

-- In my opinion, one of the most uniquely styled 60's wagons - the '60 - '62 Plymouth Valiant (scroll down to the bottom of the page)

That '69 is a shaggin' wagon. And only for 69?:biglaugh::evilsmile:

The others are wild but I'll let others see them first. Thanks!

I really would love to copy that Aurora! Were they really officially produced, or was it just a one off?

-- The Aurora II from 1969 was just a concept car, but it was a 'styling exercise' based off of a production unit.

-- The original Aurora I from 1964 was even further out there - that one was a full-on 'dream car' . It used some elements that later worked there way into production Fords. Here it is:

I remember seeing it at the LA aiuto show when I was a kid - Oh wow! ...was my reaction.

.....and with room under the hood for two Trabant "engines", it might go as fast as 40 mph.

Note: When mentioning the Trabant "powerplant", always use quotes, as someone could question your word usage.

I saw a Trabant when I was in the former East Germany and it was smokin'! It was beat up and spewing black smoke.

I doubt if it was really beat up. They seem to smoke even when new!
