Here in WA St. we can pay an extra fee and order custom plates. We have a total of 7 Letters. Since I'm new to this Wagon Scene I wanted to put something interesting on mine. Here are a few possibilities that are available in this State. CHUKWGN. WAGON8R. GOWAGON. MOPRWGN. DRGNWGN. I would like to see what your thoughts are or a suggestion.

I think, Drugs in Wagon (DRGNWGN ) might get the cops in a habit of pulling you over quite often

Where in the PNW are you? Sometimes, a geo location or feature (even man-made) can be inspiration. For instance, I live in Everett, and so, to poke a finger in the eyes of the Bluenoses, I might have GONAVY (for the Navy base) or, say, MILTOWN (mill town, a reference to all the wood and paper mills that used to dot the city on both the Puget Sound and Riverside sides of the city.

If you're from Seattle or its outlying areas, you might have BYE AWV ('Bye Alaskan Way Viaduct'), BGWHEEL (for the Ferris Wheel), or BVUESUX (Bellevue sucks)....

:welcomewagon::Welcome: Welcome Chuck Wagon owner. CHUKWGN is the senseable choice. Here in Illinois we can check to see what is available. Check it out where you live.
At one time I had a special vanity plate on everything I drove in Illinois. Moved to Florida for awhile and had a 1955 Florida tag on my wagon. Year of man. could be legally registered.

I have a custom plate on my 66 hardtop...66MUSSL. I have had it for quite some time. It costs me about $110 per year for this plate. My 66 wagon however has a year of manufacture plate that I bought from a guy in Lynnwood who refurbishes old inactive plates. My new plate is EDY199. It even has a 1966 year sticker in the upper right. The plate cost me $200 and a DMV fee of about $70 to register it to my wagon. This is a one time fee. Same as the collector plates so there are no other yearly license fees. Much cheaper than a custom plate over time.

At one time I had all of the following Illinois plates for years.
    USA 1955...... On a 1955 Chevy sedan
    SHARP 57.... On a 1957 Chevy
    ModelT 1...... On a 1987 Ford Escort
R TOY 55..... On a 1955 Chevy wagon ------- I kept that one on front even in Florida.

Tags used to be cheaper with a number added. Now everything costs a fortune.

In Florida a year of manufacture was cheaper, if you could find a decent one. Not allowed to alter an original until after it has been legalized. I paid $100 at a swap meet for my 55 Fl tag. The first two digits are the county. My other Florida tags were collector tags which were cheaper for vehicles 25 years and older. Every crappy old truck and car had these !

Are you going to daily drive this wagon?

If not, go for a classic plate. You can either go with a new, "Collector Vehicle" plate or a vintage plates that would have been on a 1966 car and never have to get tabs again. Plus, vintage plates on a vintage car just look right.

Look up Hannah's Vintage Plates on Facebook, they should have a set you can use. That's where I got a set for my Mustang.

That’s a good thought... depends on if you want classy or tacky:rofl2:. Those old plates do look good and classy. Now back to tacky. What about “Mrblvdr” no? Why?! Because it looks like Mr. boulevarder?! I change my vote to “wagon8r”

If you really want to get tacky, you could get yourself a right-handed driven RV and meet your desired black widow on a British roadside, sporting these plates: RDKLETR
