About the third time (or more!) that this one's been on here, Saf....
It's been around a looooong while, and been for sale (at the same price, same place) for over 2 years I think.......

Interior isn't the best, and the wagon conversion was done quite a few years ago.....

Ah, so it is one of those "if I keep trolling with this bait someone is bound to bite" routine.

Yup. Isn't the idea of car sales to actually sell cars? Got to keep the inventory moving..........About time the dude even gave it away for a loss, or at least dropped the price to something more reasonable. It might sell at $9k or so.......

Been around a long time as KK points out. And I still love it. Don't know what it's like up close and personal....but....from here, I love it. I've never seen the interior.

I know what you are saying Fox - it is so unique. I wonder what the quality of workmanship was like. You hate to pay primo for something like this and then have to get into the bodywork.

LoL! I didn't notice that until you mentioned it, silverfox. Roll Ups are rather un-luxurious for a TBird.

I swear, Steve....I HAD a 62 Bird and have seen MANY in my day. This is the very FIRST one I have seen with roll ups!??

Yeah - believe it or not, PW were optional. I've seen very few with them, though, like this one. The interior is the main reason why I don't like it. Note also, the front bucket seats are from another kind of vehicle - not original T-Bird buckets. Those T-Bird buckets were very nice, too. I had a '62 for a short while, and they were really comfortable.

If i were to obtain this, I would immediately rip out the interior and start over. I would also get rid of the 2-tone paint scheme. The turquoise color is nice - best one on this type of bird.

I don't understand why guys take those buckets out and put something out of a 77 Chevette or equivalent in :coco:

I currently have '67 Bird buckets in the Safari but am intending to replace them with earlier ones when I find them.

I think the car should be one color. And I never notice the roll ups - what was he thinking? You go to all that work and you use a bare butt optioned car?

Yeah, but it is two colors of green and who would paint their car with green, let alone two shades:slap: ?
