Be careful around them; possums can be pretty mean. I wonder if you threw some mothballs in there if that would make them leave. Might be worth a try.

Yea, I've heard the mothers can be quite nasty protecting the little ones. All we get here is black widows or maybe a mouse.

I had that problem years ago. Noticed a very bad 'wild animal' smell in the garage. A mommy and one baby had nested in a cardboard box up in the rafters. I simply grabbed the box, kept it covered while I drove about 10 miles out into the boonies and let them go.....

Sprinkle this inside and all around your shed, Mom will pack up the kids and be gone!:yup:
Works great and DOES NOT HURT animals...it's full of peppers, spices and other things, animals just don't want anything to do with it.

I'm guessing that since you haven't been in your shed for a while. It was a nice quite place for a mommy to have her babies...maybe 13 according to the link
Anyhow, maybe if you make it less quiet and private she'll move her babies out all by herself???
Try leaving the door open, turn on a radio near by, some hard rock station, if that does work I don't know what will? :bouncy:
But it got rid of our spuirrels. :yup:

We had skunks living under the shed last year. Called a pest control company, and they set up traps. They removed the traps and released the skunks unharmed but far away. It cost a few hundred dollars.

    :rofl2:

Just kidding...kinda;). You mention the only way into your shed is through doors, through your garage....well the possums got in some other way! Spread kritter ridder around, put a LOUD anoying music station in there like fammie mentions and they will leave. THEN you have to find the hole they came in from.
