Something I stumbled on this morning, definitely not your everyday grocery getter! http://reading.craigslist.org/cto/2367064056.html
LOL...yeah, but, I like these off the wall wagons. If you want to get looks driving down the street...get one of these.
Three rows of seats, but you had to be a contortionist to get to the back two. The V-4 (yes I said V-4) was a Ford engine. Put into the European Ford Taunus IIRC. In the SAAB in replaced a 2-stroke 3 cylinder (again, IIRC) . You know being different is OK, but it seems SAAB just chose to be different for the sake of being..............really strange.
...and for your listening pleasure, the sound of aforementioned 2 stroke can be heard at :36 1:15, and 4:35 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsw4g5KFzl8 My apologies to the OP for the tangent. Hey, wait! That's me!...lol!
I've heard of, but never seen a four speed column shift car before. Having worked on a few three speed columns and the fact that it is a Saab, I'm curious what wonder of engineering that steering column looks like.
