Wow, bet this one still has the new car smell. Price seems reasonable for the quality of the car. Those Pontiac wire wheels are sharp looking!
Sure looks nice! You wouldn't think silver would look good with the wood grain. It's actually one of the better combinations.... at least on this Pontiac.
Someone will snap that up soon. What a nice wagon and super low miles. I'm like KK, wouldn't think the silver and wood grain would look nice if I didn't see it. Yet how old are those pictures. Theres' snow in Ohio.
Living within 400 miles of the car's location, I can say that the snow has been melting here so the pics may be fairly new.
84 Pontiac This is a Super-Clean car! But something kept nagging at me why it looked so much like a Caprice Estate. Well, duh ! The outer trim pieces Did look like a caprice till they later changed the moldings to Kinda look like a Ford Squire. They were light colored and had a clear coat that would eventually peel. I think Marshall's car is the later version,
The 'big' Pontiac box wagon was known as the Catalina / Bonneville through model year 1981. In the U.S., there was no 'big' wagon for model year 1982, except in Canada where it was called a Parisienne. In model year 1983, the U.S. got the Parisienne. The Parisienne no longer had a Pontiac-specific front end sheet metal, or its own instrument panel. It was basically a Chevy Caprice with a different grill. The Safari's used all the same Caprice Estate trim.
