I'm slowly working through the mechanical issues on my recently acquired 65 Impala wagon. Thankfully the brakes are one of the best things on it, super sharp.
But I noticed it has a CPPC front disc conversion, so, when it comes time to change pads, do i just order 65 Impala, or is there a specific fit for the CPPC units - do they have a serial number somewhere to cross reference from, as the brakes were already on the car when I got it. Thanks

You need to find a CPPC catalog and check the kit used on your wagon. It's going to take later disc brake pads, calipers, discs, etc. Most likely mid sized 70's-80's GM like Buick, Monte Carlo, etc.
If lucky and you have a NAPA or similar type auto parts store it's possible to take in your parts and have the counter person check. If you have American cars there many mechanics will know what it fits.

Good luck. It shouldn't be that difficult if you have a CPPC catalog or any other brake info.
