at a garage sale in San Francisco today. This comes complete with instalation directions, 2 screws for mounting and a rubber gromet. Back in the day hazard lamps and back up lights were optional equipment. This find is almost as kewl as that vintage Chrysler coffee cup I unearthed from the carpet of my Monaco.
I really think we need some good shots of the carpet in that Monaco. If the shag is deep enough to conceal a coffee cup, that car's even plusher and more comfy than I would have thought!
Forever Big Sale I bought a 1955 Chevy sedan with a similar flasher on it. That was a great add on and it came in handy a few times. Amazing this was still in original package. Reminds me of the antique auto spot light with original working pointy bulb and wiring I got at a farm sale for 25 cents. Was panted black. I removed the paint and the light was stainless and perfect. Like a dummy I left it on my Model T when I traded it off! I lost my quarter !:banghead3:
Goodby parts That old neat looking spotlight on the 1926 T touring and the antique stop light I had mountd in the center of the rear wooden wheel were probably worth as much as the T ! The stop lite was as large as a small baby moon hubcap with the word S T O P in darker red in the center. Funny how we remember useless things and I forgot to take out the garbage this morning! But it is a special day whatever day it is.
Hey....you don't HAVE to take out the garbage today! It's YOUR day! And if SHE doesn't take out the garbage....get on her case!
I wouldn't have passed that up either. I can't pass up anything cheap. That's how I ended up with my last girlfriend lmao!
The guy had a ton of stuff. Ive never seen a Prestone anti freeze in a metal can, but he had one. Old car dealer license plate frames, dealership key chains from dealerships ive never heard of before so I guess they were early 70s or late 60s dealers that today are long gone. Whatever didnt sell was going to the dump so I gave the guy my number and I may go back and ask what hes still got He had some 50s car alarm, it was a aftermarket thingy. If I had the space in the car id have picked up these types of things but the girl I was with just had to load the car down with purses of all things she bought.
