Welcome CheckerGuy. I was the general sales manager at Focaro Ford and then when it became Island Ford on Richmond Ave in Staten Island back in the 80's 90's. We didn't sell Checkers, though! As it happens, there's a pretty detailed discussion on replacing the woodgrain under another posting. Just click on this link: http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16678
Checker wagon? Check. Welcome aboard. I'll help you with your luggage. Just put your bag in the backseat.
