1979 Colony Park w/351 - after reading some much-appreciated opinions on this forum, I have decided to swap out my 7200VV carb with a rebuilt 2 barrel 2150 carb which I got from a local carb rebuilder. Seems pretty straightforward with the vacuum lines, and I have to bend the fuel line a bit. But I am wondering about the throttle position sensor setup which attaches to the 7200's throttle linkage plate. Do I need to install the TP sensor on the new 2150 carb? I hope not because the new carb's throttle linkage plate is different and will not readily accept the TP sensor setup. Am I correct in assuming that the TP sensor will not be needed since I am disconnecting all the other electronics from the carb (such as the feedback actuator)? Thanks for any and all help!

Well, I did the swap over the weekend and it was easier than I expected. The car starts and runs much better now. Now I have to deal with some vacuum leaks. By the way, the old 7200VV carb makes an ugly but effective door stop. Many thanks for everyone's advice!
