    Billionaire’s Daily Driver Is $1,500 Volvo

    Ingvard Kamprad is the founder of Ikea and is worth an estimated $28 billion. But his ride of choice is as humble as the furniture he sells: a 1993 Volvo 240. If the car sold today, it would only be worth about $1500.

    If I were head honcho at Ford I would probably drive a Taurus also, a wickedly fast, rear wheel drive, NASCAR eating, best looking, humble Ford Tarus.:biglaugh:

    His previous car was a 2001 Lincoln Town Car (just a plain basic Signature model, nothing fancy, gold on tan leather) that he auctioned off on eBay to support Girls Inc.

    Before that he had older model Town Cars.

    In support of GM he is currently driving a 2006 DTS he bought new. To further this support, he just last week bought $224 million of GM stock (10 million shared at the time).
