For painting (restoring ) diecast mostly matchbox kingsize but doesn't matter what.

I'm thinking an airbrush would be better for the small things .

Thinking touch up gun but wonder how fine they can be made to spray.

What do you use for models?

For models, airbrushes are the best tool.

Dear GN300 and Station Wagon lovers,

I've got an HO Scale model railroad and have had an airbrush for painting those models. For things less than 10 inches long, I think you'll find an airbrush much easier to control.

Do you have a a need for a touch up gun? If you expect to be doing a little of both, you might try to live with the touch up gun, but as I recall, an airbrush by itself isn't that expensive. The compressor or air tank is what will cost ya' . . .

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers, Edouard :beerchug:

I have a small compressor /tank i'm leaning towards the airbrish as the items are under

10" and no wider than 3".
