A Face in the Crowd, 1957. Starring Andy Griffith, in this scene, Howard Smith is driving and Patricia Neal is the passenger. I think the real star is the 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe wagon.

I've mentioned it before, years ago back in Illinois my aunt lived in a small nearby town. We would pass a Chevy wagon like this over the years. I always was gonna stop but never did. When I finally had the extra room and time to stop it was gone.

We've all got a story like that, Denny.

For me it was the '58 Pontiac Star Chief Custom Safari I spotted while on my dad's milk route with him. It had a 'for sale' sign on it! I think I had almost enough money in the bank to buy it! I didn't have my license yet...., and the house rule was kids don't get their own cars until they graduate H.S........[IMG]
