Has there been a recent uptick in the value of '58 Chevys and Pontiacs? I've been seeing a few more than usual lately in ads......

There is always a steady interest in these big, heavy on the chrome, curb cruisers.

Agree Yeoman. Always thought that the 58 GMs had a fan base because of their single year styling theme. Big, heavy looking chrome cruisers they were. For me, the 59s were something of a let down, especially the Chevys.

Must make a correction to my previous post. I just love the look of the 59 Buick.

That is a beauty. Looks super clean.
    But almost $29k?
That seems a little (ok, a lot) steep to me.

I was wondering that, myself. Well, I guess the market will be the judge. He'd have a better chance at getting that price, if it'd had the 348 (lt's obviously not his fault) and original air conditioning ducts. He also isn't showing us either an original master cylinder or a dual. I imagine, if it still has the generator, the master cylinder is likely also original. Of course, there's nothing wrong with any of that. It just doesen't help get that price. After all, it's not a '57
