Hagerty TOP 10 2019 Vehicle of the year!< This 1994 Buick Roadmaster has been a Hawaiian Surf car owned by legendary professional surfer Randy Rarick. Well-maintained for the past 15 years and is in good condition. (Personal mechanic tended to this car) It is powered by a 350ci LT1 engine with Edelbrock headers MSD ignition K&N air system and custom Edelbrock Header exhaust mated to an automatic transmission. It features air conditioning a custom sound system with Bluetooth capabilities and a clean smoke-free interior. An accident was reported in October 1995; however any body damage was replaced when the car was mildly customized in 2002. The exterior features one-off wood trim which is fully fiberglassed. It features an SS Impala front end and custom hood with the sides featuring a unique cutaway rear wheel-well housing that exposes the American Racing wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich RT radial tires. As an addition this car comes with a custom BEAR surfboard (of Big Wednesday movie fame) designed by Randy Rarick longtime professional surfer board-shaper and former Executive Director of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing on the famous North Shore of Oahu HI. 1994-1996 Buick Roadmaster The Roadmaster name returned to Buick for the first time in 33 years in 1991, but it's the 1994-96 models that hold some value. The reason? They were outfitted with a 260-hp version of the 5.7-liter V-8 from the Chevrolet Corvette. Underneath, the Roadmaster was a body-on-frame ,B-body cop car with the DynaRide air suspension. That suspension combined with the era of 75-series tires made the ride buttery smooth and the handling sharp. It could tow 7,000 pounds, too. Inside, the Roadmaster had leather seats that lacked sculpting but invited naps. Hagerty quotes current values in the $13,300-$18,300 range, and says prices have bottomed out while the number of quotes it gives has risen. Nothing like it in the world - Barrett-Jackson buyers (F.C.F.S) - buy and drive home today - Surfboard is a Randy Rarick custom $1200 surfboard included - make an offer - 9 passenger wagon hurry!
Quite unique in that this surf wagon seems to have actually been used as a surf wagon. I like it. I think the Port holes on the fender are actually a nice touch since it is a Buick after all.
Saw this wagon at Barrett Jackson yesterday. Only sold for $1700. Ad is still up and it had a for sale sign in it for $9000. My guess is the owner himself bought it back so he didn't have to sell it that cheap.
