From the same dealership in Lebanon, PA that the '74 Gran Fury is from. Looks like a small town ex-police car from PA. Kinda odd that it's still floating around BUT I remember when I lived in PA back in the day, a few small boroughs (small cities in PA speak) had some old stuff in their back up fleet. I'm not usually a fan of these Caprices, but I think with the history, it's pretty neat. Maybe I'll call them and find out what borough it served in.... If this was down here in ABQ someone would snap it up for use in the movie industry. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/753187267/overview/
That's totally clean for a police service vehicle. It definitely could end up on a film vehicle company lot.
It is Clean, and that's a good price considering all the Police equipment that comes with it. I like the Placard below the instrument panel saying "use overdrive during High Speed Pursuit"
Hey Moparandfomoco, you remember ABQ had a zillion of those things in the Metallic Blue with White tops? Can’t believe how many of the pre ‘11 Crown Vic’s they still have in service. Every once and a while I still see one if those blue ‘90- ‘92’s around that someone bought. Didn’t they hollow out the rear wheel opening in ‘93?
Yes and I've been here in the Land of Entrapment so long I remember seeing the same livery box Caprices still in service, as well as a few decomissioned M Body mopars too. When I moved up the hill to Rio Rathole in 98, they still had both types of Caprices still in service and although they still looked nice, they prolly had a ton of miles on them. Yes, they lost their Nash-style wheel openings in 1993
