Does anyone know if the 9 inch was standard equipment on a Country Sedan fitted with a 352 and a manual column shift? I'm asking because I have an 8 inch at the moment and I decoded my car. Did my 9 inch fly the coop in a previous life or was the 8 inch typical with the 352?

The 9" was standard in most full size full frame cars. The 8" OR 9" were in the Uni-body cars. That's what I have seen anyway. I would have to speak to ford guru's I know to get the full scoop

Yeah, pretty surprised to see the 8 inch. I'm planning a 9 inch swap at some point.
