I had a '79 Fire Arrow in Germany in 1991. Paid $200 for it. Pretty zippy little car for the day, with the 2.6l five-speed going for it. I like these and the Dodge Colt both. Chrysler never really promoted these cars the way they should have. Finding one at all anymore is a rare event.

The car in question definitely needs a side stripe of some sort to break up that expanse of white!

I worked with a guy back in the '90s who had a black one, and I think his had a 2.2(?). It definitely wasn't a 2.6L, I've worked on enough of those to last me two lifetimes. Anyway, he got it for free, ran like a (Plymouth) champ, but it had electrical problems out the ying-yang, so I went through and fixed several opens and one short (alternator), and it was a decent car for him for a few years.

Stuff a Montero 3.0L V6 and a five-speed in it, I think you'd have one hot Fire Arrow!
