    I grew up near a fairly large Ford dealer, they had several of them, but I only remember them having one Mustang.

    Interesting Truck, I am more used to the GMC square body version of the Indy Hauler. I don't remember seeing one of these on the street. And you think I would have as I grew up less than 4 hours drive from the track, and I am sure they would have been driven around Dearborn!

    I'm not sure of the production numbers, but I'm sure they were pretty low.

    According to the info on the auction, the Marti report said they sold over 4000 of them. So not really that low of production. I probably saw a few back in the early 1980's but I wasn't into trucks (still not into them) so they did not register.Also I was a die hard GM guy back then so another factor in not paying them any attention.
