79 Buick Estate Wagon Wood appliqué

    Hi. Does anyone know the specific name or a place to purchase the wood paneling for this car? There are so many variants (mahogany, teak, etc) and sources that I’m lost. Many thanks for any advice.

    Mick is an expert on the subject.

    From what I myself know, those Buick Estate wagons came with TWO styles of woodgrain. The lower-trimmed LeSabre level wagons had darker, 'walnut' appearing woodgrain, while the higher-trimmed Electra level wagons had lighter, 'honey-oak' appearing woodgrain (at least that's how I would describe it.) But if you are replacing the woodgrain, you can go any way you want. Here's some pics showing the two types:
