Hi, I am trying to restore a 74 Chev Caprice Wagon, but being in Australia getting parts and information is almost impossible (thankfully I found this forum which has been a great help).

One item I need is a LH front door. The rust in mine is substantial, having eaten into the frame. I really need a new door (minus glass, etc), as it is a huge job to repair the one I have. Trouble is, everytime I find someone in the US who has one, the correspondence by email just seems to die. I want one, I need one, and I will pay for one, I just need someone who will supply me one. Can anyone help?

Found one at Tri-County Auto Dismantlers in Santa Paula, California (east of Ventura, Ca, north of Los Angeles)
Price listed is $200, says it's "so-so", and it's an electric door.
    Stock# 494897
    Yard phone# is (877) 667-2787

No preference. Nearly all of the importers who bring parts in from the US to Australia seem to bring them out from California, but I am open to any offers. I did find a guy on Ebay who is in Canada (vintage farms). He gave me prices, everything, but when it came time to buy I get nothing back.
