I'm thinking that's a drivetrain from a late 80's Mustang... Something I've thought would be good to put in a Mustang II. Usually, when I see a bright yellow car at a car show, I ask my kids, "Hey! How'd you like to go for a ride in THAT taxi?" Despite the fact that, in some countries, taxis don't get much bigger than that--- I think I'd rather drive this taxi than ride in it... ;)

Personally I don't think yellow should go on any vehicle that isn't utility/construction related. A nice liquid ox blood or even a basic tan/light brown would be great for this wagon. I actually like the wheels though. I'd even learn to drive stick for it. I've only driven half stick before.

Cool, but you couldn't take off the cheap steering wheel lock off for the pic? BTW, that cheepo lock, 1 minute with a hack saw and it's off..... don't ask how I know;)

Looking at the intake and shifter it could be from a t-bird.
