Hello from nwfl Picked up a 72 chevelle wagonooking at starting another restoration this winter.. For now I'm wondering around in here learning how to navigate this fourm.
Welcome Chevelle427, Hang around here awhile and you'll probably find some (if not all) of the information and parts you're looking for. Oh buy the way, we all love pictures around here! Again welcome and enjoy your stay!...Longroofs Rule!
Welcome to the group. Lots of information available to assist with your restoration. I have a 72 Chevelle Concours myself that I have restored.
Welcome aboard. Would love to see more of your 72. If you're going to start a restoration this winter, be sure to start a thread in the projects section so we can follow along! http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/forums/station-wagon-projects.32/
From nwfl? that's a new one for me, but then I'm in a small little corner on Canada. Welcome to the forums. I have a soft spot for Chevelles and a like. Will be looking forward to seeing yours. This is very nice... Do you have it anchored at the back?
Nwfl Around the states alot know the short name. North west florida. Some call us LA. Lower Alabama The 67 is a true 138 ss car I fought it in 1974 for $350. The wagon is a 72 chevelle Concours. Guy local had it for 16 years I drove it home for $1400. Plan is to make a cruiser out of it and hand on to it as well
At first I was thinking New Foundland but then thought better of that and thought you might be from Florida. This is sweet.
I live in Washington State and our little corner up here is often referred to as the Pacific Northwest or PACNW for short. That being the case I figured that was what you meant by NWFL. I have to say, the LA for "lower Alabama" cracked me up.
Chevelle427 from beautiful central Illinois............... formerly NW Florida ! We call NW Fl anything west of Gainesville and below the Big Bend. We'd rather be there than here, but here we are. Some 20 years ago we almost moved up to Mexico Beach, and once considered a small place at the east end of the Mississipi River. We returned home, Mexico Beach, and the Mississippi river bottoms also moved! Get to work and enjoy your wagon while you still can.
