    1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Wagon
This is my barn-find, a Chevy Chevelle wagon that I bought to restore, but just have too many projects to be able to get to it anytime soon. It is all complete and all there. It is 99% rust-free, no body or frame rust, just some patina surface rusted, but not pitted. The underside looks like a 3 year old car. The inside: the door panels are all there and good, all the interior trim is there, the front bench seat does need recovering ($125.00 Chevelle Classics) the back seat is fine. I bought a new headliner (partially installed) and new dash pad cover and new carpet, all still in boxes. The exterior has a few (5 or 6) minor dings, no dents. It does need the windshield replaced ($139.95). This wagon has a two-way tailgate, swing open or drop down. It has a power rear window that works. The engine is a 350 V8 with a cam (not sure of of lift), and Edelbrock Performer intake and carb, MSD A6 ignition, and a TH350 transmission with a B&M shift kit. It has headers but as usual they have a leak. Dual exhaust with Magnaflow 40 Series mufflers. I bought a pair of stock manifolds that I had planned to put back on. The car has power steering, power brakes, A/C. It runs and sounds great, the brakes need bleeding (have to pump them up). The A/C needs attention but is all there, I took the compressor off, old style A-6, and was going to upgrade to a Sanden 508-SD compressor and R134 Freon. If you are into restorations or are looking for a father/son project, this will be pretty easy. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner slate than this rust-free car to start with toward building a classic street cruiser. A few weekends and a few hundred dollars and you will be rolling. If you like wagons and rust-free cars this is the one. I am not interested in any trades or swap of any type, unless you have an old original VW Beetle and it would have to be equally rust-free. The only other swap I will do is to trade my car for your cash. I have the title in hand. I don't need to sell it and am sure I will regret it, so my price, $4750.00 is firm.

Yep, that is mine. Something has got to give, I have too many toys. It was either the Chevelle wagon or the Vega V8 wagon. I have since sanded and primered the whole car. I am working on it getting some of the things finished. All I do to it, toward making it a road-ready street cruiser will be added to the current price. I'm not being a butthead, it wouldn't take much to talk me into keeping it, that is why the price is firm and climbing as I do more to it. The hood has been replaced, the one pictured was bent -- stiff hinges.
