Neat mild custom but how'd the tailgate get so rusty when the rest of the car supposedly is rust free?
being a smart ass, again--- If they really want all of that $4,000, the least they can do is vacuum the floor in the back seat! And what's with the yellow wire hanging down out of the dashboard?
I like this. I like the price as well. I know a tailgate will be impossible to find but they are out there. And I would remove and shave and smooth over those lights and paint it all white. I'll relocate the backup lights to the reflector housings in the bumper. That's the only thing I don't like about 69-70 wagons are those extra lights on the tailgate. The '65 and '68 are round and look good and even the 66-67 style ones are OK, but those 69-70 ones look like an afterthought. I had an opportunity to get a 1969 Kingswood Estate as my first car. It was at the same Firestone shop I got my $100 Cutlass from. It had a 427 in it and it ran and drove, was very rough and rusty, but it needed brakes and a windshield. For $400 and needing that work I chose the '75 Olds sedan instead.
