Right now the plans are pretty intense. The car is a shell right now and at my friends body shop. He works wonders with old cars so I am hopeful he can get it together. I have most all the body parts I need and what I dont have he can fix/make. I just need to find a tailgate...
My other good friend is a chassis builder and he is going to graph and 03-11 crown vic front end to it. I want good brakes, power steering, etc. I need to measure the track width but from rough measurements we are confident it will fit. If not, he will just make something himself.
I already have a 5.0 coyote and all the swap pulleys/harnesses I need so it is basically just a waiting game until I get the car back.
My background is late model muscle cars, I just sold my Z06, but it is hard to fit a family of 4 in those cars, so I
got drawn to the wagons. I love the sharp hard lines of the 65 galaxie wagons.
Hopefully soon I will have a thread up in the project section. Until then here are some pics of the "wagon".
