Hi Everyone, I have searched and searched but can't seem to find a solid (reliable) answer.

I found a 65 Mercury Monterey that I am thinking about picking up as a donor/parts car for my Colony Park Project.

I am specifically interested in the front fenders, windshield, some light covers, and interior.

Can anyone tell me if it is worth picking this car up to switch and swap?

While I am at it, I am pretty sure, but want to make sure with the experts that 1965-1968 Galaxie front and rear disc brakes will work on the colony park as well.

Most cars I have done in the past have been with ground up builds or common restoration where parts are readily available. I am also not that familiar with Full size ford/mercury.

    Thank you

Same fenders, front bumper, grille and all other front sheetmetal; and if it's a four-door or two-door sedan or wagon, the windshield will swap, too. Much of the trim is the same. Dash & front seat will swap; and glass will swap (if it's a four door or wagon). If this is a four-door sedan, all of the doors, door glass, and door interior will swap.

I'm assuming you have a Colony Park wagon and are looking at a four-door sedan parts car. If this is so, the brakes might swap, if the sedan has HD brakes like the wagon does.

The '65 - '68 Ford full-sized cars NEVER had rear discs from the factory!!! Front discs were an option from 1966 on, IIRC. Drums were standard all around.
