    1) find a picture of the trim nut assembly before you start so you know what your dealing with. 2) pop the stainless caps off with a small flat screwdriver. If the cap gives you trouble, attack it in a different location. 3)the easy ones will speak for themselves. the hard ones that just spin have to be ground off using a die grinder or drill bit from the front Getting to the backs with pliers can be a challenge. Watch out for heat build-up 4) tail gate upper trim panel is a nitemare with two nuts inside the tailgate hidden from view and accessibility. Slide a putty knife under the "O" and "R" until you feel it hit the stud, then slide a flat chisel under the putty knife on the body side and WHACK THAT MUTHA. Stud snaps off and presto, so does the trim piece.(the putty knife keeps you from cracking your trim) Don't worry about the lettering, it's riveted to the trim and replacing the trim back on the tailgate can be done with adhesives or modifications. Most of us will take off the script and replace it anyway.
