but they dont know if it will fit my wagon unless i take it off and find a part number. Cant seem to find a cross reference. it looks exactly the same as mine. Most fairlane of that year interchange. thanks everyone and its good to be back.

To the best of my knowledge, the Fairlane, Meteor, Falcon, Comet, and Frontenac all used the same column, so the part should interchange between all of the models. All were built on a common platform, with the Fairlane and Meteor having a stretched floor pan. Mechanically, though, they were all pretty much the same car, and also share a lot of mechanical parts with the early Mustangs.

Mikes got the majority right...but to be safe...its a Fairlane!!

all the internals of the column are the same as the Fal Fair Com...Id have to look at mine to be sure...but I think the column itself is the same from my Falcon stuff....but the box is different.

Good to see ya back 63...while you were gone...i bought a 63 Country Cruiser...i'll do a good look this weekend at the 2
