Mopar in my veins, but my 1st mopar wagon. Recently picked this gem up in the midwest from the family of a former mopar mechanic (50s-60s). Features a 361, pushbutton trans, 9 pass, pw, pb, and power rear window. This is a slow rolling project being put together as time and money (parts) allow. Ben in North Dakota
Sounds like a great car. Is it a hardtop? I also have a 9 pass, pushbutton trans mopar wagon. I get a lot of enjoyment out of mine. I hope you will be able to do the same with yours.
It should be a hardtop, Jeramiah. In the years Chrysler Corp offered the hardtop wagons ('60 - '64), Plymouth did not get the hardtops (with ONE exception); Dodge got a mix of pillared and pillarless (hardtop) wagons; and Chrysler ONLY had hardtops. I, too would love to see some pics, Ben! Welcome to the forum! Marshall
Total bummer that Plymouth didn't get a hardtop wagon. I would have loved it if my car was a hardtop. And, yes Ben, I too would love to see some photographs.
God they came up with a lot of scary stuff. Supposedly the Comanches would use torture as way way to give victims a chance to reclaim their honor. If you don't scream while they torture you , you die an honorable death. I would have begun screaming and lost my honor as soon as I saw Indians come out of the woods. I had a friend (r.i.p. Miss you Craig) that would do his "stand-up" comedy routine while suspended from the ceiling by hooks in his back...it wasn't very funny.
Where do you guys come up with this stuff? This is an introductory thread for Ben! Sheesh! You're going to scare him away!
