This is different. Apparently one of only three made. Was on Hemmings for $150k. Now on eBay. You'd be the only one in the RV park with one of these. http://bringatrailer.com/2014/09/09/1941-western-flyer-rv/ http://www.ebay.com/itm/Other-Makes...34686c07:g:5eMAAOSwbsBXksGX&item=361656511495
I was only asking $3000 for my 1969 rare Corvair powered mostly original UltraVan. I dropped down to $2000 and the auction company only got $750 after the mover broke most windows on the driver side. Still it was worth at least $2500 for this rare motorhome. Maybe I should have added a V-8.
That Ultra Van is pretty cool-looking Cat! I'd rather have one of those than the ultra-expensive one above. I never heard of these before. So I did a Google search to find out more. Some history about the Ultra Van: http://www.corvaircorsa.com/ultra.html And here's some for sale: http://www.corvair.org/chapters/ultravan/used.html
That is the coolest most fugly thing I've seen in a long time! Only FAIL and to me it's a EPIC FAIL is the fact of the 3 burner gas range ....... and no exhaust hood. I realize this is just a toy but...... Just cook one breakfast of bacon and eggs in there with no venting exhaust hood and you will be smelling it for weeks! And if you burn that breakfast............
As much as I like microwaves that one is so out of place there. I could be wrong. I was once before. I sort of remember those Western Flyers with a Ford flathead V-8.
It looks like something out of Dr. Who or Buck Rodgers, probably why I think the exterior is kinda neat, interior does look like ass though...
I used to watch Ultraman on TV? The interior is ridiculous, I would of made it look like the inside of a spaceship from a 50's movie or go with an art deco/steampunk/Captain Nemo vibe. It looks like some do-it yourselfer weekend-warrior project. A pot on the stove flaring up would burn the cabinet next to it and probably catch the whole headliner on fire. The odors that thing will retain will get funky too, range hoods are goods.
