The 31st Annual EyesOn Design Automotive Exhibition will be held on June 17, 2018 (Father's Day) at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. One of our 2018 categories will feature vehicles from the late 1940's and early 1050's that were designed to take advantage of the new Interstate Highway system and the increasing amount of "family vacation" travel. Here are some of the vehicles required to complete this category: 1953-55 International Travelall 1949-50 Kaiser Traveler 1952 Nash station wagon or 1946 Nash Station Sedan 1949-51 Oldsmobile station wagon If you own or know of any listed vehicle that might be available for exhibition at our show, please send me a PM. Thank you! Joe Tonietto (jmt455) Chairman, Vehicle Selection Committee 2018 EyesOn Design Since its inception, EyesOn Design has raised over $4 million for the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology (DIO), the research arm of the Henry Ford Health System Department of Ophthalmology. Neat event, Joe! I'd come if I were anywhere close! That's quite a select group of cars. You're going to need the assistance of some vehicle-specific car clubs, but I'm sure you've thought of that already.
I've been fortunate enough to be invited three times to Eyes On Design, twice with my 1970 GSX Prototype and once with my 1971 Black GSX. It is absolutely the best show I've ever attended and supports a very worthy cause. If one of you have or you know someone with one of the above vehicles believe me, it will be worth their time to contact Joe.
