That's way too much money, for an 18 year old car with that much milage. He'd never get nearly that much money in the car's native France where it's still registered

 

That license plate on the front is just there for show. He has a Québec plate on the rear. Québec only requires plates on the rear of the car.

I don't know why people like to drive around in North America with European plates on their cars, but they do.

 

Sometimes, the Quebecoise try to be more French than the French themselves. I guess, driving around a French import with a foreign front plate makes some of them feel snobbish or something. I would rather be impressed by the ones who could speak proper French.
