Oi! I have to replace the gas-operated shocks on my wife's 2001 MB Wagon. I don't get seasick, but I was getting nauseus riding in that car. Our roads in Virginia are getting like Pennsylvania's....full of potholes. So the car does a LOT of bouncing.

So it's almost $2k to replace the shocks, accumulators, etc on that car! Stinkin' foreign car!!:banghead3: Well it beats a new car payment for 7-10 years and it hasn't had a lot of problems so far with over 200k miles on the odometer.

Just "venting." Alright! I feel better now :whew:..until the bill comes in though!

    $2,000? :eek3:

Are they hooked into some self-leveling system? I would think that if they are 'ordinary' shocks or struts, the aftermarket must be cheaper. Do a little digging..........

Just did a brief G-search. There's a lot of info (and products) out there. Also seems there's different levels of factory suspension tuning on your Mercedes. You'll have to figure out which one you have. Saw an article / forum post or two on suspension upgrades for the wagon.
