    They weren't common, but they were offered. Now you can't even ask for a stick shift, they're just not offered.

    Man, even trucks from the 90s look small in comparison to today's bloated behemoths. At first glance I thought that was a Ranger! lol Neat truck though. Really nicely preserved too. I wonder why it was hardly used? I can't imagine it was intentionally kept as a "collector's" piece.

    My brother-in-law had one just like this. Low mileage on one of these indicate it was used as a secondary "around the house" vehicle for chores that required a truck. He rarely drove his, had something like 29k miles on it. Sat in the driveway or under a carport most of its life.

    Also, my coworker had a white version of this truck (single cable, 6.5' bed) and he had 295k miles on it when he finally sent it on to that boneyard in the sky in 2018 - he was the original owner. He joked it was his daughter's inheritance because it was older than she was.

    V6 and 5 speed, was a more common thing than you'd imagine back 25+ years ago.
