    Hey there ...

As mentioned my 1991 Caprice Wagon, I'm having a hard time releasing the Rear Seat Release as it has pulled out.

Could someone explain how to access and repair, as I need to lay down seat to go pickup lumber [pictorial would be awesome]

    thanks

did you ever get the seat down? I think on your model the release is in the trim panel on the right hand side down at footwell level. You will probably need to take the trim panel off or at least be able to raise the bottom of it so you can access the cable or linkage.

OR If youre limber, you may be able to put your head down in the footwell and see where it connects and pull the trigger there.:whip: Im pretty sure to correct the problem you will need to pull the trim panel so you can repair whatever has come-a-loose, as they say here in SC.:tiphat:

Most of the trim should just pop off and push back into place, there may be a few screws holding it, so dont be too rough.

Hi Glassman. Have you looked at the online Autozone Repair Guides? - like an online Haynes. Free Registration, punch in your model, and have a look-see?

Autozone let you down on that one Norm, i checked there. My best friend has a 95 Roadmaster and her car is already on my list. No Body manuals there for the bubble wagons.
