That's a nice looking wagon you have there. I remember when these used to be everywhere. Now they are a rare sight.
Been awhile but it’s still my baby. Here we are at the Back To The 80s car show in Minnesota last summer. Hoping to make it again this year. And to the Oldsmobile Homecoming in Lansing.
I sort of had the MacGyver look going on. Except the mullet wasn’t as thick in the back as it used to be.
She was beginning to need some body work. We have another wagon (Fannie) and we didn't want to invest the time and money into Lil'Sis. So we found a buyer that was very excited to takeover the care needed to keep her on the road. A side note, the buyer wanted the wagon to transport his kids safely as he did care much for the little SUV that they had purchased. In his opinion there wasn't enough space behind the back seat incase of a rear end accident.
Nice to know that it went to a good home. Kinda like with mine, the guy wanted it to go to a good home. He turned down multiple offers for use as a derby car. Seems like I was the only one who really wanted it for what it was. About 3 or 4 months went by from when it was listed until I was able to buy it, and he still had it.
This may sound terrible, but I kinda size someone up, and if I don’t think the car is going to a good home, it’s a no-go. I’ll take a little less and have a good feeling about the cars life after me. I totally get what you just said. I need to post it in the American wagon section but last fall I purchased a nice low milage ‘94 Olds Cutlass wagon. Really love they size of car. It’s a wonderful road car. Been back and forth between Phoenix and ABQ a couple of times.
