So, this one's got the larger Pinto 4-banger turbo, instead. Having a stick-shift, it should end up more appealing than that V-6 automatic previously posted here

Amusingly, I looked at one of these in 1997. I really wanted it because it was sporty and fun to drive. Insurance wouldn't insure me because "it was a turbo and you're under 25."

I wonder what teenagers do for insurance for the modern cars that have easily twice if not thrice the horsepower...

So nice I consider this example a buy it when you find it car. This may be a fun auction to watch as the Turbo Coupe enthusiasts could come out of the woodwork.

Very nice car, if in ho hum colors. Personally I prefer the looks of the 85-86 models, but I understand mechanically the 87-88 models have many improvements, but they also have alot more complication. I remember a coworker having to decide to spend the money to keep the automatic shocks that came stock, or replace them with non CC performance shocks. This was in the mid 1990's.

Probably a good buy at that price, considering the mileage and condition.

I've gotten rid of stuff for way over the top rediculous prices, on e-bay, within the last minutes of an auction. If I would have sold these very same items outright demanding fixed prices, potential buyers would have tried haggling over my already modest prices. Whenever auctions take place, more than often you'll get bidders who either don't know what they're doing or you'll get those who get so worked up that they overbid against each other
