$2500 not bad, even the clear coat doesn't look like it's peeling. the Torque steer in these was something else, Had an 82 Olds Ciera Wagon
Not so bad by the time they started building the A-bodies, but the torque steer was bothersome in the X-bodies. Had one of each as company vehicles.
I had an 88 Century Estate Wagon, nice little car. Same color paint and velour interior. I did not have woodgrain or the 6-way driver seat. My wagon had the optional aluminum wheels and the bigger 3.8 V6. A lot of power for this size car an excellent mpg. I sold it when the tranny started slipping. The informed buyer never fixed it and ran it as is for another 30,000 miles.
We traded my Wife's 82 Olds in for a Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition in 1996 , 14 years old 51,000 miles original tires; 8th exhaust system - kept rusting from inside out, and every seal and gasket shot - all dried out - car leaked everything. but when it gets driven less than 4,000 miles a year - was cheaper to just add the fluids
