A high-priced U.S.S. Reliant. I wonder if the 4-cylinder is the Mitsu 2.6? What a hunk of junk engine, especially with the crapola Solex-Mikuni carb.
I think the 2.6 was gone by '87, replaced by the turbo 2.2. Chrysler really should have offered the V6 in these.....
I think they eventually did, but I couldn't tell you when. I've thought about retrofitting a 3.3L/AWD minivan drivetrain into one of these.
It has the TURBO badge on the DS front fender, so this is a 2.2L car. Nice price for a decent-looker. I'd NEED to see evidence of the timing belt job on this. Fortunately, the 2.2L and the larger 2.5L are NOT interference motors.
