    Better to fix the mistake now than for the new owner to take the title docs to the DMV and THEN note what the title says it is......

    Trying to sell a 77 as an 87 may be a good way to get an angry knock on the door or worse. But as an aside, the Haynes manual that I picked up for our 87 reads for years 1970 to 1990.

    I doubt anybody that buys that is going to be concerned about 1987 versus 1977. FWIW he did update his ad. I wouldn't really call that dent in the passenger front fender a "small ding", but whatever.
