Rare model with column shift and split bench seat. https://madison.craigslist.org/cto/d/1986-oldsmobile-toronado/6687229864.html
Looks like a decent car. He has two prices in his ad. The ad title says $3,200, but the second line of the ad text says $2,200. Given the car's problems (the "easy fixes" he doesn't have the time fix), I would favor the lower price. I think the 160,000 miles also favors the lower price. But $3200 is really not bad, either.
I'd worry about the electronics that could fail tomorrow. Good luck fixing them at any price. And notice the "check engine" light.
Good eye. That indicator's not very bright, so a potential buyer that's not paying attention could miss it. Any bets it's a code 42?
Judging by the battery indicator I'll bet the key is in the run position but the engine isn't actually running. Check engine light will stay on indefinitely in this era of car in that situation. But the electronics failing are a very real concern. Replacing them is not easy and repairing them is not cheap.
